ABSTRACT
Conflict in modern life is a complex phenomenon involving not only external interactions but also internal psychological dynamics. Previous studies tend to analyze conflict partially by focusing on either emotional, cognitive, or social aspects without integrating them into a unified framework. This study aims to develop an Integrated Psychological Conflict Model (IPCM) that explains conflict as a systemic interaction between cognitive appraisal, subjective perception, emotional response, and trauma. The research employs a qualitative descriptive-critical approach through contemporary literature analysis (2022–2026). The findings show that conflict originates from cognitive appraisal processes, mediated by perception, intensified by unresolved trauma, and expressed through emotional reactions. Furthermore, conflict has transformative potential through post-traumatic growth. This study contributes a multidimensional model that offers a more holistic understanding of conflict and provides a conceptual foundation for conflict management and psychological intervention
